European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS)

Starting from mid-2025, the EU will introduce ETIAS, a pre-travel authorization requirement for visa-exempt travelers. Although Indian citizens currently require a Schengen visa, it’s essential to monitor this development, as any future changes in visa policies could make ETIAS applicable. ETIAS aims to strengthen security by pre-screening travelers before they enter the Schengen Area.
